The UNESCO Chair on Data Science in Higher Education Learning and Teaching contributes to the mission, mandates and priorities in the following ways:
- Conducting and disseminating research and publications that address educational inequalities and promote inclusive teaching practices;
- Developing data-driven insights and tools for analysis and practice that enhance the accessibility and quality of higher education;
- Provide equitable and respectful educational opportunities (e.g. authorship, scholarship, and professional learning);
- Foster international collaborations and dialogues that integrate diverse perspectives, promoting universal respect for justice, the rule of law, and human rights within the global education community.
